who knew?

so today, i bit the bullet, drove to the big city and gave the snake lady the news. she cried. she hugged me and she cried. she made me cry. i hate that! and then she said she'd give me a wonderful reference and she'd help however she could and she'd call dbq and cid and see if there were openings and she understands that i have to do what's best for me and she's going to miss me and my personality and my sense of humor and the fact that people like me and blah blah blah... i was so shocked it took about 15 minutes for me to shut my mouth. and all this time i thought she didn't like me. no really. who knew?
